Shirley Chisholm Centennial State Park Walk

On October 6, 2024, from 2-3 pm, Shirley Chisholm State Park hosted a special Centennial Birthday Bash, celebrating both Shirley Chisholm’s 100th birthday and the 100th anniversary of New York State Parks!  We enjoyed a wellness walk led by SCCI Board Member, Co-Founder of Miss Jessie's, and Author Miko Branch.

The event entailed a 45-minute hike along paved and gravel trails with Miko discussing her business, mental health, and what she has learned about self-care. It was a fun time to be had by all!
